Some Have Called Him a Good Man

Yes, He is good, everything about Him is good, but He is more than a good man; He is the good man. The essence of His coming was not just to heal the sick, feed the poor, and do other good things for a select group of people that lived in His time. He came as the ultimate good for humanity.

What About a Teacher?

Definitely, He was a teacher, the greatest that ever was. He taught with such authority as had never been seen before.

Is He a Prophet?

Yes, but a prophet like no other. Ever heard of any prophet who died and came back to life on the third day? Only Jesus Christ did so.

He is the Saviour, Lord, and Friend

He is all of the above and more, but more importantly, He is the Saviour of the world. As a man, Jesus, who is God the Son, shared in our humanity and experienced our emotions, including our sorrows and pains. He laughed, He cried, and He was in anguish.

Now in glory at the right hand of God the Father, He is able to identify with whatever we are going through. There is none greater than Him at empathy. He has been there and that is why He is able to identify with us and help us out of our predicaments.

So, Why is He Not Helping Everyone?

Actually, he wants to. The problem, however, is that everyone is naturally born a sinner, an enemy of God, separated from God, and in danger of eternal damnation. This separation is so wide that human effort cannot bridge it. It is only a surrendering at the foot of the cross – acknowledging the deplorable situation of sin, and accepting the free offer of salvation brought by Jesus – that will suffice.

When you become His friend, He saves you, transforms your life for good, and gives your life a meaning. However, He doesn’t want to be your friend and Saviour only; He also wants to be your Lord.

How to Become His Friend

Acknowledge your wrongs and confess them. Tell Jesus Christ to forgive you your sins and to come into you. Ask Him to be your Lord and Saviour. Tell Him you want to be His friend. Thank Him for doing so.

No, you can’t see Him but He can hear you. So, just go ahead and talk to Him.
